Digging the old coffin
out.
Then he was
repacked in a smaller one. |
Then sealed anew and ready to be buried with his parents in Nha Trang. |

Apr 13th,
we visited the graveyard where Phuong's parents were buried.
First, we bought some incense to burn. |
Phuong and Martin in front of
Phuong's parents grave. The grave themselves. |
Phuong's mother.
Phuong's neighbor. |
Rubbish is omnipresent all over
Vietnam. Also on the grave yeard. Big industrial
crane for building materials just outside the grave yard. |
Apr 14th,
Phuong is an excellent cook. Here you have the lunch. Grilled oysters with
cheese and peanuts. She cooks some local pumpkin
and makes a very good cool drink out of them. |
Martin's lovely oyster lunch.
Really tasty, and cheap. For dinner it was honey
glazed shrimps with garlic and onions. Absolute fantastic. |
The following day, Martin was
served grilled chicken wings with garlic, onions, cucumbers and rice bread.
Phuong's Restaurant is really good. Apr 16th,
Phuong made nail screws, something Martin never has tasted before. A
shellfish of kind.

Martin thought is was
bamboo first, but more like oyesters. |
