More data? | We travelled from Nashville to Atlanta to depart on flight KL 622 at 2135
local time. But before that, we visited CNN, a very interesting visit. The tour
name was Inside CNN Studio Tour.
In addition, Martin went and visited Coca-Cola International that have their headquarters in Atlanta. At the airport, Martin had his last full American junk meal at Thank God it' Friday. According to the history, it was a Norwegian that started this very successful chain some 40 years ago. Always a queue on the doors. Martin's meal was pork spare ribs, a full rack with coleslaw and broccoli instead of chips. For starters a Jack Daniels with diet coke. For dessert a calorie bomb called Chips Ahoy Ice Cream Sunday that consisted of three scoops of vanilla ice cream topped with cookie crumbles, fudge and caramel sauce and whipped cream. Lovely and fatty. Martin washed the food down with three pints of Bud Light American beer and two Nutty Irish Coffees which consisted of a rich blend of Bailey's Irish Cream, Frangelico Hazelnut Liqueur, fresh hot coffee topped with whipped cream. The best American meal Martin ever had in the USA and the fattest one. But Martin took an Allis that makes all the fat go through the system and end up in the toilet some 8 hours later over the Atlantic. Martin was very happy with his meal
The next day, Monday April 12th, we were back in Norway at 1540 hours, Norwegian time. Or so it was planned. Martin arrived 24 hours later due to ticket hick-ups and a sore throat. |
