Summing it all up.

Thur Dec 21, departure for Norway

This was departure day and a little sad because Martin enjoyed yesterday enormously, due to Ina and her friends in her Group.

To the left, Martin' farewell with Wedderwill Country Estate, where Martin stayed end Nov and end Dec. A wonderful place you really felt welcome.

To the right, time to have some lunch before departure. We popped in to the Heiderbraü, a German brewery and restaurant that we visited the previous day.

Here are some of the tanks in the Brewery.

And at the air-port, time to hand in the SA cell card. It worked well during Martin's stay.

All done and on to the big hassle, getting the gun handed over to Martin.

But with a little help from the only officer on the air-port that did understand something, it went rather smooth. Most other officers were completely incompetent and didn't know what they were doing.

Now it's time to hand it over to Martin. More papers.

Johnny and Martin having a farewell beer before Johnny headed back to Springbok.

Since the London airport was clogged down by fog, Martin was transferred to Lufthansa via Frankfurt. Nice move.

Then back a gain with the baggage tag for the gun. Even with a flash, his face doesn't show.

The airbus was a new experience for Martin, and a pleasant one at that.

The incompetent clowns in the luggage department took Martin's magazines out of his box. A lot of back and forth, and then back again in the hull with Martin's magazines and ammo. This is the new, incompetent and corrupt SA. Sorry, that's the fact.

The following day, Friday Dec 22nd, Martin arrived back in Norway, just in time for Tanya to arrive on the 23rd.
