Summing it all up.

Dec 15, in Springbok

Day for relaxing at Johnny's and lot's of computer work. Bernardo, Johnny's son has a nice set up with a reasonable broadband of 512kbit downloading speed.

To the left, the cash dispensers are always very popular in SA. Here Martin is queuing up.

To the right, a security guard is just coming out his gun ready, but can he use it?

Bulletproof glass, but what about the sides of the car? They have to too.

Man selling multicolored ostrich feather brooms on the streets of Springbok.

Not much grows in Springbok unless it is watered at regular intervals.

Martin and Johnny outside the gate at his house in Springbok.

Time  for stocking up for the weekend. Bottle store highly recommended by Johnny and his son Bernardo.

The weekends take. 48 cans of Windhoek Draught, 24 bottles of Beck's 0.3% alcohol for driving and 12 cans of Windhoek Lite for light driving.

Johnny is always busy fixing thing. This time it's his geyser that he wants to put on top of his roof.

Martin has gotten his own refrigerator. Daphne didn't like he was messing with hers. Daphne is a stern lady.

The lonely hilltop in Springbok. Many town has one of their own.

Time for some biltong snacks. Vicky, Bernardo's mother-in-law to be runs this shop.

Vicky with Martin's purchase that day. Nice it was too.

Martin on the guest bed with his computer and beer.

Kolie is a kind of a farmer outside Springbok and a long time friend of Johnny. He drinks rum and coke. Martin drinks beer.

Daphne with one of her rare smiles. Life is tough in the new SA and there are little to smile at. Except for Johnny. He always smiles.

Johnny helping his friend Kolie with a safety door he has bought from Johnny.

Sheba, Johnny's overfriendly female dog.

Johnny in front of his fountain that he made recently.

Martin and Johnny ready for some sheep necks for dinner.

Johnny and his sheep neck. Martin's in the front.

The following day, Friday Dec 16th, Martin went shooting with Johnny to the local shooting range. Why guns are better than women? Have a guess.
