Our first full day in Chiang Mai, we visited some Chinese mountain people and a table top temple.

	This was a trip to a mountain top just outside Chiang Mai. Here the flowers at the hotel before departure. Ban Mong Doiphui Thesuthep was the firs village we came to.
	All kind of material. A Chinese tribe that settled in this area more than 3000 years ago. They have their own national dresses for rent so tourist can have their pictures taken. This nice skirt fascinated Martin.

	A nice tour guide from another group. She was very nice. Martin had a beer and and a nice chat.
	Her name was Guitar something. The forest was very dense.
	A French couple that was part of our group. Smoking they did. The market place was very busy.
	Off to a temple on a mountain top. Time to go to the top. Watch Roy's video of the village and the top.

	Buddhas an masse. Jack fruits are very common in Thailand, and big.

	Plenty of people around. The lying Buddha.
	The golden temple. Take a walk around it.
	More temple. More house.
	Coins donated to the temple. Nice houses on the compound.
	Phra Borommathat Doi Suthep Foundation, +6653-29500. Another monk on the premises.
	The stairs down. There are some 603 of them.
	The lift well. A lot of sales stalls of all kinds.
	Martin outside the hotel. The road outside the hotel.

The next day, Thursday March 31^st, it was time for another half-day trip of the city.
