Summing it all up.

Apr 5 - Summing it all up

After 14 days in Eilat, Israel, my conclusion is very simple. Why did it take me so long time since my first visit in 1977 to come back.

As a Scandinavian, a visitor to Morocco once and Egypt four times, I regret  not having come to Israel before.

In Muslim countries as those mentioned, they despise you, hate you, burn your flag and only show some kind of forthcoming when they think they can screw you for money, why should we spend our money there? Never again. Turkey may be an exception.

In Eilat, and I have to add Jerusalem, when speaking to the man in the street, that being a waitress, a cabdriver or casual shopper, you genuinely feel welcome. And they blame the media like the TV for Israeli bad press. And rightly so. For the TV, only bad news are news.

In Norway we have a Minister of Finance, colloquial called The Silk Cunt,  She publicly encouraged people to boycott Israel. She is a typical spokesman for that kind of anti Israeli attitude.

I've met fellow Norwegian that feel the same way. They plan to buy a flat in Eilat for health reasons, and rightly so. From October to April, Eilat is a great place. And the other months, Norway is the best place to be. Then Eilat is too warm.

I definitely will come back. The way I felt I was received was very hearthwarming, compared to they Jalla countries where they only want to take your money. Making anything for themselves that involves hard work, they are incapable of and have been so for the last 2000 years. Not so ;-)) ?

And Apollo that arranged this trip, I'm most grateful. A great trip to a reasonable price. I'll be back. If you want to contact Apollo Eilat, you can do so. Make it attention to Vidar, a very cute, handsome, blond-haired Norwegian. He is worth a look-over.

That was the end of a very pleasant stay. Back to the beginning, click here ;-))
