American. |

On to Graceland, and
again a lot of details are found on the website
www.elvis.com.
The photo rip-off. They take your photo and sell it back to
you for US $ 25,-. Not worth it for Martin. |
|
|
The main entrance of Graceland. The official

only the White House has more visitors a year than Graceland. |

|
|
The dining room, also on the ground floor.

Elvis. |
|
|
Martin in front of the famous pink Cadillac that Elvis was

Typical fattening American breakfast. Tasty, but unhealthy.
Roy and Ellen in BBKings restaurant. Martin got ripped off
by the waiter behind the bar, charging 6 then 8,5 dollars for a pint of
beer. The price went up as the customers got more drunk. |
|
|
Ellen and the local black singer that even didn't sing too
well. No real blues. A disappointment.
B. B. King is big in Beale street. You can find more on
Beale Street on the web. |

The police was omnipresent and they gave you a real feeling
of security. Then it was back to the hotel for a night's sleep before
setting off to Nashville. |
