This time we took the bus to Bangkok.

March 25th, time to go lunching. Lai in the lift.

the Siam bank branch in the middle of Bangkok, they have one person that can speak some kind of English.

All the staff in Siam bank are bound to follow some stupid policies set down by the corrupt, underworked overpaid clowns upstairs. Not Nice.

Time to get to a Tapas restaurant behind the Ambassador.

Tapas Café had an excellent lunch.

Lai is posing with Martin's beer. She is a Thai and said that "Not even her dogs would eat the food". Martin loved it.

Here is 3 dishes from a set menu at roughly US $ 4,-. Martin order the same menu twice. It was superb.

Back at the hotel, time for a swim.

In the afternoon, visit to the German Beer Hall. One of Martin's favorite places in Bangkok.

Lai made this nice bouquet of napkins at a Swiss restaurant next to the beer hall.

Inside the restaurant, Martin enjoyed a very nice fried fish in sweet and sour sauce. Very tasty.

Street kitchens are all over Bangkok. This is one of the lunch ones.

Friday March 27th, it was off to Chongqing. It was 3 hours and 20 minutes in the air.
