In the morning of April 2nd, Martin left Shangri-La for Lijiang.

Martin's travel route: Bangkok - Chongqing(about) with plane, Chongqing - Shangri-La(about) by plane, ShLiangri-La - Lijiang by bus and Lijiang-Beijing by plane. By road, more than 3200 kilometers. Roy have taken hundreds of photos. Can be seen here.

To get to the other side, we had to leave the bus because the bridge couldn't take the weight.

Back to our hotel, the Golden Path Hospitality Hotel. It has a nice creek running through the facilites.

While the others walked around the city, Martin had a massage and a nap in a local massage parlor.

In the evening, off to the airport and our plane to Beijing. We were one hour late due to congestion at the Beijing airport. the will build a new one in 3 years time. Commie effectiveness. In Norway it will take 30 years due to all the democratic rules in play.  

On April 4th, it was off for Beijing with an airplane.
