Late at night, 2140 of April 4th, Martin left for Beijing.

Martin's travel route: Bangkok - Chongqing(about) with plane, Chongqing - Shangri-La(about) by plane, ShLiangri-La - Lijiang by bus and Lijiang-Beijing by plane. By road, more than 3200 kilometers. Roy have taken hundreds of photos. Can be seen here.

Arrived at Beijing at 0030 in the early morning of Apr 5th.

the Park Plaza Hotel, Beijing was a very decent hotel with all the facilities.

We got Peking Duck. Very tasty and very fatty. It was served after everyone had filled up their bellies with other food.  
     

On April 8th, at 0600, Martin left the hotel and went to Chongqing. At 1850 further on to  Bangkok after a most frustrating stay in Chongqing.
