After early morning swim, time for a lovely Thai breakfast with canned mackerel, garlic
tomatoes, skimmed milk and fried chicken. Lai is a very sexy
housewife and do everything to keep up the good look. |
Lai outside Martin's Internet shop having a fruit slushy. Off to
Krasang. A nice Buddhist construction on the way. Martin has no idea what this is. |
The Buddhist monks hard at work on the foundation
of something. The impressive temple itself from en end view. |
The West wall is very well decorated.
Then we arrived at Krasang and Roy's fish restaurant. |
This is from the inside of the restaurant.
Martin and Lai at inside the restaurant. |
The chef at work in the kitchen.
The outside of Roy's restaurant. |
The street sign on the main highway side of the
restaurant. Some very weird flowers that Van, Roy's wife has
planted. |
| |
Another view of Roy's restaurant at Krasang.
Roy's famous dragons. They are nice. |
Ray's lovely wife Van and Roy's golden dragons.
The rear view of the house where Roy has finished all the dragons in gold. |
The house is made completely of
recycled material from old Thai houses that has been torn down.
But the kitchen and toilet is one story down. Dangerous for old man Roy that need a leak
during the night. |
Van and Lai in the main outside room of
the house. The grandmother of Van. When Van misses her, the
grandma comes and visit for a day or two. Lovely woman Van is. |
The inside ceiling is covered in
aluminum to make the room cooler. How, Martin doesn't understand.
Van grandma is having her lunch in the main restaurant. |
On the way back, we came across this
funny traffic cop. He is rather impressive. The off to an empty
bird park. Nobody there. Lai and Martin with one of the concrete gorillas in the park. |
Lai is the nicest of the two.
They had a full size dinosaur in the park as well. |
Lai's lovely bum as she tries to climb
into the dinosaur's belly. This is the full name of the empty
establishment. It is Saiphet Park and Suan Nok Resort. A weird place. |
There is a big lake for birds next
door. Inside the resort that reminds you a little of Shining
Hotel, there is a nice waterfall. But no persons. |
The empty, unused stairs up to the
second floor of the resort. Deserted.
Then a visit to a big Buddha, but Martin couldn't walk the 526
steps up to him. |
All in Thai, but the bottom line reads
Buri Ram. Or so Lai says. A lazy dog on the premises. |
Back to Lai's house where Martin
invites her into her house. After some 200 kms of driving for the day.
Lai is in the cutting mood. A small tree went down in the
thunderstorm the previous night and Lai took care of it. Martin has no stomach for
gardening. Actually, he hates it. |
After Martin had a shower, Lai had laid
out an ice-cold beer for him and Martin was working on his Internet pages while Lai washed
clothes and the car. Martin washes his car once a year. |
