To the left, the last breakfast at the
Centera Beach hotel for now. Next time, Martin will stay in a flat.
See pictures from July 29th.
Time to shop for Martin's favorite food, dried Thai fish.
Lovely. |
Plenty, plenty dried fish. Martin loves
it.
It was an enormous fish market basically for dried fish. |
Drying fish in the sun. Effective way to
get the food preserved. Nice
highways all over the country, even though it is a 3rd
World country. |
Nice overpass.
And Big C is BIG! |
Stacks of stuff all over the place.
Time for prayer. We stopped at the Buddha temple along
side the road. |
Kran in prayer in front of her beloved
Buddha.
Nice step where you take your shoes off
and cover your shoulders before going in. |
In honor of Buddha, you burn some incent
in front of the picture. Nicely
cut bushes outside the temple. |
Lovely, green rice fields.
Pissoirs in a long row. Martin is impressed with the
capacity and cleanliness of these institutions along the road. |
After plenty beers and dried fish, Martin
needed and extra leak.
At our hotel in Kampung Pet, the
Scenic Riverside Resort. A really lovely place. |
The tub was very unique and big, but the
water was too cold for Kran to handle. Martin had no problems.
The favorite meal in Thailand, steamed fish in sweet and
sour sauce. Lovely. |
