Our first day in Vientiane, Laos, a Unitary Marxist–Leninist one-party socialist state.

	Across the street from our room was a wedding going on. Lai in the early morning sun on our veranda.
	The wooden stairs down to the lobby. The breakfast room is big and the food very good.
	Lai hugging a tree next to the pool. She likes this Gac-tree. A Gac is a special fruit from Laos.
	The pool is 15 meters long and nice. Unfortunately, Martin forgot his swimming goggle at The Ambassador in Bangkok. Lai and her trees.
	The Gac fruit or Java Plum is a typical tropical fruit found in Laos. UTube pictures.
