A full days trip to Vang Vieng (Lao: ວັງວຽງ) which is a tourist-oriented town in Laos in Vientiane.

The route from Vientiane to Vang Vieng (Lao: ວັງວຽງ) which is a tourist-oriented town in Laos in Vientiane Province about four hours ride north of the capital. The town lies on the Nam Song River. The most notable feature of the area is the karst hill landscape surrounding the town, 160 kms North of Vientiane.. We started at 0640 and was back at 1850, more than 12 hours back and forth.

Having crabs at this nice restaurant in the mountains. The name is Labiengphoo..

It is nice next the creek having a meal. A fresh crabs restaurant with garden at Phahom mountain some 30 min drive from  Vangvieng city.

The owner, Mr. Mr-Xayaloam  has his own garden across the road.

Back to the car and return to Vang Vieng.

Back at the hotel, time to say goodbye to our friend, Kamsavang across the street.

He doesn't speak English, but was a very friendly person living with 17 of his family members behind his shop.

Last night at the hotel with our trusty Norwegian shirts.

Bye to our nice room at the Golden Sun Hotel. We may come back.

On Tuesday November 8th, it was time to go back to Thailand.
