After a swift drive on New Year's
Eve, we were at Nang Rong.
This time we took faster route through the small roads. Click

Martin's favorite place in Nang Rong, the swimming pool. A
private pool open to the public.

Lai and her mother making the first meal of the New Year.
They are cooking over an open fire in the back yard. |

Martin with his borrowed helmet. No very fitting.
This is outside Lai's house.
Martin's pool. His favorite place.
Lai at the pool with the dogs. |

In the evening, a quick visit to
Mama's for a fish. And a small locust on the
table. |
|
|
Martin waiting for his food.
The Mam's fish is excellent. She know how to cook a nice sweet and sour fish
dish. |

|
At lunch time, visit to Home Ming, a very nice and cheap lunch place. |
|
|
Lai looking at the hole in the
wall. The house is 5 years old, made of cheap, sub-standard materials due to
the greed of the contractor. Busy streets of
Nang Rong. Martin went shopping for a watch fixer and found one. |
|
|
Pig head in the market. Good for
muslims. |
|
The next week, Friday January 8th, it was time for
more of the same.
