Another relaxing week with swimming
and computers.
The spaghetti of electricity in Thailand never ceases to amaze Martin.
After going for a walk, Lai and Martin went for an afternoon beer. |
Lai and Martin. The counter flash didn't work too well.
Nok, Martin's
very effective tax consultant that does his taxes. |
Martin's favorite place, the pool. It has been chilly for a
few days and Martin gets to keep the pool for himself.
The next day, February 9th, it was a meeting
with Norwegian authorities. A total waste except for the coffee.
Then Martin went to immigration fix
his debarkation card. Another waste of time.
Keld, a pleasant Dane that lives in S1. |
Lai with Martin's favorite, San
Miguel Lite beer. The rubbish bins outside S2. |
An angry Keld with his big morning
beer. The Norwegian flag on the beach
front. |
Pap, another booby Thai girl that
hit the jackpot with a very generous, Finish ATM-machine.
A smart man on a diet. He gets a cup of tea and put it into a big glass of
ice and makes his own ice tea. Good idea. |
Sunset over Jomtien Beach.
A big thunderstorm swept the area on the afternoon of Feb 16th. |
Our last day in Jomtien for now.
Feb 18th. Martin's view from the bed.
Time to visit another market. Kiss restaurant. |
One of the local beauties. A nice, Thai
gentleman at 84 years old. His name is
Paul of Dynatech
Instrument Co., Ltd. It was established in April 2006 as the
System Integrator, distributor and trading company. |
PapunchwitPaul's assistant for the
last 20 years. Martin thought she was 20. She
has a nice smile too. |
MamaSan of the fish
grilling establishment. They had a real big
turnover of local fish. The chef in action |
One of the local
katoeys
of Thailand close to the market.
Here with "her" friend also working in the same
establishment. |
The pool seen from the far end towards the condos. The S-blocks
to the left and A-blocks to the right.
The next day, Friday February 19th,
it was time to visit Bangkok before leaving for Norway. Suza, Martin's
cab-driver for the past 4 years, will pick up as
always.
