Martin spent 3 days in Bangkok, basically running around for Kran's stuff at her sister's house or at her newly rented, crummy townhouse of very dubious standard. Martin met some old friends and that was great. Apr 4th it was off to Pattaya. Again Martin met some old friends and that was very pleasant. Kran can be very moody, with her temperamental emotions running up and downs. Her English is really lacking, and decent communication is a problem. This again, leads to argument and unnecessary unpleasant incidents. She is very reluctant to learn English. In general, she is very reluctant to do anything not costumed to her. She is basically insecure and feels that she cannot meet the high expectations Martin have to her. She may be right. After Martin lowered his expectations, they have had a lovely, caring relationship. Martin just had to be smarter. After that, Kran and Martin were very happy together. From April 4th to 14th, we stayed at SilverSand, a simple, good hotel with a fantastic swimming pool. On April 14th, Martin moved into a nice condo complex just up the street. It is ViewTalay with an even better pool. 40 meters of it plus a king size kiddy pool. This was a fantastic place and Martin and Kran plan to stay here in July 2011 as well. The right place for Martin and he will help with the administration of the condos in the future. |
