To the left, Kran's office in the trunk of
her car. First time Kran filled the
car to the top with petrol. Some 1700 baths or 42 €s. |
Then it was gas.
At 11 baths (€ 0,27)
a liter, she filled it with 45 liters in addition to the 40 liters of
petrol. |
The water is added as well.
Another temple on the road. |
It is impressive.
The name Wat Sothon temple. |
A stop outside Kabin Buri for some grub.
Kran is happy after an early morning roll in the hay. |
The food center was excellent.
Soup for 30 baths (€ 0,75)
and pork knuckles for 50 (1,25)
is not bad. |
The soup with coagulated beef blood is
slimming and healthy. No fat, sugar or starch.
As opposed to the knuckles that did have some fat on them. |
This fellow has really slimmed down. Not much
fat on his bones. Then off to the bank
to wait. Outside a temple for chickens, or so Martin thinks. |
A big red chicken. Touching it and saying a
prayer is good for luck. In the bank
you wait for 30 minutes to get served and then it takes another 10 minutes
to deposit the checks Kran got from the hospital for her goodies. |
Kran patiently waiting as all Thais do.
An effective line numbering system is operational with a
total of 12 tellers. |
The back home. We wasted too much time at the
bank so
Prachantakham had to be dropped
for now. In the evening, a trip to the
walking street again. Just sitting in the street watching people go by is
entertainment enough. |
A bunch of Koreans taking photos of
everything and everybody. Martin took a
50 MB video as well. Martin's
favorite mantis shrimps,
here incorrectly called rock lobster. It may sell better. |
A happy couple from Singapore.He smoked a
water pipe. Will give him headache the next morning.
The ugliness itself, the water pipe. Not good. |
