Summing it all up.

Nov 15 - Miniature city
The pictures below are thumbnails, meaning they are small copies of the real thing. You just click them. The weather in Norway and in Bangkok just now.

The highpoint of this Monday was the visit to the Miniature city, an educational park built for Thai children and tourists to learn about Thailand and the outside world.

To the left, Martin's early morning swimming pool. Standard 2000 meters every morning.

The Miniature City that is a very lovely educational park. This is the main entrance.

Martin and the statue of liberty in the background.

A fanciful Buddha statue.

Kran in front of Mount Rushmore.

The victory statue of Stalingrad.

Angkor Wat from Cambodia. Very impressive.

Some ruins from Europe. The acropolis is shown here.

The Rama IX Cable Stayed bridge from Bangkok.

The Chaophraya Dam from Thailand. The first major dam built.

Another Thai palace of sorts.

The happy couple of Martin and Kran.

The waterfall from the inside.

Martin feeding the fishes.

Garden worker in the heat. Martin really don't know why this headgear.

A Thai airway model plane.

Martin's favorite bridge as well. More fancy bridgework from Bangkok can be seen here.

Kran enjoying the park.

Impressive Buddha statue at the entrance.

Then time for lunch. Lovely, sweet Thai waiter shown here.

Martin' patent to keep his beer cold.

The food was excellent. But the salty fish is too salty for Martin.

The entrance to the restaurant, The Mae Lea Restaurant it says.

Then we were off the Was. Here is her fish, a Anabas Testudineus if that tells you anything.

Was and her son in front of the computer.

Smiling Was.

Skeptical Was.

The public pool in the area where Was is living, the Khotal suburb of Pattaya.

Typical street in the suburb of Khotal. Kran and Martin may rent a house here one day.

A smiling street vendor having her lunch at a street café.

Kran is shopping in the local supermarket. Very cheap.

Then in the evening, time for Sae-Chuan Korea Bar-B-Q. Recommended on 038 713 778.

Preparing the fire.

The fire itself. Fire fascinates Martin.

This setup makes a fantastic fish soup.

The meal is over and the cooking pan is empty. Martin is happy.

The next day, Tuesday 16th, it was time for more of the same and a visit to The Walking Street of Pattaya in the rain.
