The highpoint of this Monday was the visit to the Miniature city, an
educational park built for Thai children and tourists to learn about Thailand
and the outside world. The Miniature City that is a very lovely educational park.
This is the main entrance.
A fanciful Buddha statue. The victory
statue of Stalingrad.
Some ruins from Europe. The acropolis is shown here.
The Chaophraya Dam from Thailand. The first major dam built. The happy
couple of Martin and Kran. Martin
feeding the fishes. A Thai airway model plane.
Kran enjoying the park.
Then time for lunch. Lovely, sweet Thai waiter shown here. The
food was excellent. But the salty fish is too salty for Martin. Then we were off the Was. Here is her fish, a Anabas
Testudineus if that tells you anything.
Smiling Was. The public pool in the area
where Was is living, the Khotal suburb of Pattaya. A smiling street vendor having
her lunch at a street café.
Then in the evening, time for Sae-Chuan Korea Bar-B-Q. Recommended on 038
713 778. The fire itself. Fire
fascinates Martin. The
meal is over and the cooking pan is empty. Martin is happy. The next day, Tuesday
16th, it was time for
more of the same and a visit to The Walking Street of Pattaya in the rain. |
