Back to start.
Martin went to Krabi with the taxi cab driver Chusak Kaeboot, Rak for short, to
Krabi for some exiting shopping. Batteries and English course.
To the left after an fantastic breakfast, Martin hard at
work writing love letters to his colleague, Heidi. To the
right, his trusty early morning beer is always there. |
Nicky, Martin's lovely maid keeps his room spunk and spank
at all times. The staff at the hotel has to give their hand
in the rejuvenation of the hotel as well. Here hard at work making a new
driveway. |
The fascination sign loaded down with bottles of cool
drinks. A new mosque is going up. There are a lot of Muslims
in Thailand, and so far they don't kill their fellow Thais. |
On route to Krabi, there are houses. Here is
seen a blue house. |
Some trees with mountains in the background.
A big rock on land this time. Martin loves these rocks. |
Flat face rock. The sleeping Buddha carved
into the mountain side. |
The straight rock face above the sleeping Buddha.
The cool drink lady had some few beers for Martin under the counter. Buddha
don't like beers out in the open. |
A fancy violet tree structure along the roadside.
Martin at Big C, a shopping area that was supposed to sell English courses
for Thai people. But nobody understood why a stupid, old grey haired
Westerner would like to buy a course for Thais? They simply didn't
understand the word course. They really need one. |
At last, Martin gave this little lady a hard time. She was a
tough cookie and didn't take any bullshit. Her name was Yo for short, but
her full name is Chatcharin. A bigger picture of Yo that sent us to Vogue
shopping mall for an English course for Thai people. And there Martin found
one, but in fact, English courses for Thai people are all over the show.
Martin bought his course for Mam,
the cheat that nicked
Martin for THB 1500,-. Clever, but in the long run a looser. |
At Vogue, they had the most amazing food shops. This is one
of them. Time for some gas in the cab. Petrol girls flogging
their goods. |
Martin at the cab. Not a big deal. One of
the most original traffic lights Martin has ever seen. |
Chusak Kaeboot, Rak for short posing next to his car.
Martin and Rak at the lunch table. The food was OK and reasonable. Nice
place. |
The view of the restaurant that Rak chose.
There were cocks there. This one didn't like Martin. |
This hen was dozing off next to the dinner table.
Palm trees all over the show. A nice place actually. |
They are selling Spy (vomit in Norwegian) at this place as
well. Back on the road to Martin's hotel, the Silver Sand in
Ao Nang. Time for a nap. |
