Down the steep hills of Sapa to a nice noodle soup restaurant.
Seen from inside the restaurant. The owner, Quang, spoke good English and
even some Norwegian words. |
Phuong and Martin from the outside. The noodle
soup is lovely, but has too much noodles for Martin's liking. |

the Chinese virus. |

hotel in these Chinese virus infected the world. |

pineapple. Lovely. A nice stone church in the
middle of town. |

Another massive hotel, empty. Sapa must have been a very well visited
tourist center. |
The lake in the middle
of town. Used for paddle boats among other

On the hilltop, a new
massive hotel is built. Phuong and Martin outside the restaurant,
Le Gecko. |
You are pestered by
children beggars. They don't want to do it, but are forced by their parents.
Not good. Tell them to go back to school.
Le Gecko, a fantastic located and
well run restaurant.
Across the street, a
fantastic light show of empty restaurants.
Phuong is enjoying a lovely orange juiice. |
