Previous trips

Getting Kran's visa was an exercise in frustration and Pat couldn't speak English.

The waterfall outside Avana in the morning.

Off to Amarin for Kran's visa.

Into the towers. We had to leave the cell phones and cameras outside the visa office. The process itself was a waste since the time limit to apply for a visa is 3 months in advance. We were 7 months in advance. No go. Kran has to come back.

The only nice thing about this visit was the receptionist in the entrance of the Amarin Towers.

The Christmas Tree outside Amarin buildings.

Then off to China Town. There is a video for part of the trip there.

A sad scarf cunt in China Town.

Basically, all kind of clothes and fabrics are sold here. Some been carried away on a trolley.

Kuang, a friendly Chinese tradesman that was very nice to Martin's sciatic nerve and pains.

Inside Kuang's shop are all kind of shirts.

Martin and Kuang. Kuang was a nice man and got 4000 baths worth of business from Kran.

Kran and a Chinese tower in China Town.

May, a friendly diner guest at a local eating place outside 7-11.

The hustling and bustling of the streets of China Town.

Another, skeptical dinner guest outside 7-11.

Shirts by the hundreds. Kran in the background getting cash for her shirt.

Not ripe mangos for sale. The Thais like them green.

Scarves for the local girls. A horrible head gear.

Martin trying new jeans.

This one was too big. 44 inches. Martin tried another one.

Kran and a fancy poster at the jean's shop.

Martin happy with two pairs in the same size for 300 baths.

The king's portrait is omnipresent in Thailand.

Then time to leave for the Avana hotel.

The Buddha stuff in the car is compulsory of Buddhist drivers.

Skyline of Bangkok.

The King's portrait on a building down town.

The Sky Train is very good and an efficient way to travel.

Highrise building next to the highway. A vide of the road to Avana.

At Avana at last.

Pat, 44 years old and friend of Kran.

In the evening, dinner at the 13coins restaurant was very nice.

Kran at the Avana hotel.

Pat is trying on Kran's old swim suit. It fitted.

The next day, Wednesday  November 30th, it was time for the return to Jomtien after wasting two days in Bangkok. At least, Kran did some business in China Town.
