Summing it all up.

This morning was the first one in Thailand this time. Martin arrived late the previous night and was picked up by Kran.

	The view from the 9^th floor of Avana hotel. No sign of any flooding in this area of Bangkok. The Highway next to the hotel.
	An skeleton sky scraper, not finished. The pool at the hotel was just adequate, some 20 meters long and popular with the kids.
	The breakfast was excellent and for THB 950,- a night it was a bargain. The pool was tempting.
	Martin having his mid-day beer at the balcony, overlooking Bangkok. In the lobby, the omnipresent picture of their beloved king and queen is at display.
	Martin having is sciatic, painful back exercised. Kran is picking up stuff from the car. She forgot a lot in the car and at her house.
	Time to watch the flooding of Bangkok. Off with the Sky Train for some 20 minutes before we could reach it. The sunset, watery streets of Eastern Bangkok.
	The bus is free of charge these days. The shop-owners have prepared for the flooding. But now the water is residing.
	Old tires uses as flood protection. The sunset over a wet street.
	Ping bus in the drink. The big problem is the sewage that is blocked and cannot go anywhere. A big health hazard.
	Martin had lunch on a pile of sand bags outside a 7-11 shop. They had two beers left. Martin got the one for lunch with some nice chicken.
	The WongWian Yal Sky Train station for our return journey to our hotel at Avana. At night, time for an ox tail soup. Kran don't eat red meat for some obscure reasons.
	Martin and Kran fooling around outside the hotel on their way to the pool. Kran bought herself a new swim suit, Thai style but had to cut it in half due to a too small size.
