Dec 14, four islands trip
The pictures below are thumbnails, meaning they are small copies of the real thing. You just click on the thumbnails, and you get the full picture in a separate window. Back to start.

Mam and Martin decided to go island hopping on the local ships. A really nice trip where we met Stian, X-colleague of Cato.

To the left, Mam's lovely knotted hair. She is very cute wearing her hair this way.

To the right, Ao's Dad is making a long pole to get the coconuts down.

Busy trying the pole out.

At last, he managed to get 3 big nuts down. After more than an hour of hard work.

Ao also plants orchids on his palm trees. In the season, they are very nice.

Ao outside his bar display. Note the Norwegian Rignes beer on display.

Dead bug fell from the ceiling over the bar. Ao and Martin tried to photograph it. Martin succeeded.

A lizard that Mam found among the flowers while waiting for the bus to pick us up.

At last the wan arrived, and here Mam and Martin are happily tucked into the back of the wan.

On board the ship, Martin managed the best spot for tanning.

Mam at the stairs in front of the ship.

On route out, we teamed up with a boat from Phuket that offloaded some guests onto our sister ship.

A dredge busy getting silt from the bottom and increasing the shore line. Good work.

After offloading, the Phuket ship took off to land in Oa Nang.

There were three brothers on the guest lists. This is the little brother having a tan.

After a stop at the Chicken island (here is the chicken head), it was off to the next island.

Mam in the swell of the following island.

Our ship went straight on shore and offloaded its human cargo.

Mam having a dip in the new swimming suit Martin bought her.

At the James Bond cliff from the film, The Man with the Golden Gun. Mam in the foreground.

A close-up of the Bond rock as it has become to be known.

One of the locals, well dressed for a dip in the drink. Amazing.

Some children had made all these lovely sand castles in the sand in front of the Bond rock.

Martin and Mam in front of the rock. Martin needs to loose some 10 kgs.

Mam with her face just fixed up with sun tan lotion.

Farsan, Martin and Mam on route to the last stop.

Disembarking from the ship onto the long tail boats that took us ashore.

And the same routine to get back. Martin got in at least 500 meters of swimming at this stop, a place he had visited in March when he first was here.

Another Thai well dressed in the blistering heat.

The long tail boats are really plentiful on this famous island. They are literally queuing up to get ashore.

To brotherly island for our last stop.

Details of the rockface.

The rock face with the caves underneath it.

Clouds in the horizon, but no rain came down.

Stian, Cato's X colleague at the far left.

They always brighten their ship of with a flower arrangement in the King's color, yellow. They love him.

Martin and Mam on the way back to shore after a very sunny day at sea.

Back at the hotel, time for a late night SPY, Arild's favorite drink.

Lovely Mam ready for bed and Martin.

The next day, Monday December 15th , it was time for Mam to return to work in Phuket.
