Jul 19 - Off to Nakhon Sawan
The pictures below are thumbnails, meaning they are small copies of the real thing. You just click them. The weather in Norway and in Bangkok just now.

After two lovely days at the River Kwai resort, it was time to move North to Nakhon Sawan, 120 kms South of Kran's town. See the map for where Nakhon Sawan is.

To the left, the beautiful swimming pool of River Kwai Resort. Martin spent much time here swimming many thousands of meters.

Martin in full gear, swimming.

Martin at the pool. He needs to slim down.

The pool area were very well kept.

The entrance to the spa itself.

Outside a very nice flower arrangement.

Inside, it was very exclusive and in a striking contrast to what happened here more than 60 years ago.

The massage area itself.

Martin's massage bed.

Visiting a customer of Kran at a Hospital in Tamakha.

Time for shopping. Inside a school class in practical shopping.

The counters for Martin favorite food, dried fish.

The restaurant was enormous. Could easily seat a thousand persons.

Then we arrived at Nakhon Sawan. Town view from Martin's room at the 6th floor.

Rain clouds over Nakhon Sawan.

Any hotel with respect for itself in Thailand, will have a Buddhist temple of sorts on the premises.

Time for a drink at the local bar. The rain was pouring down.

Two row of glasses, the upper one taken without a flash and the bottom one taken with flash. Not much of a difference.

The next day, Tuesday July 20th, it was time for visiting Kran's family.
