Up late for breakfast. Martin slept like log in the room with Grete and two
other Swedish brats in their 20-ties. Then off to Don Joao.
To the left, having a continental breakfast with Grete was
fascinating. She speaks a lot about lots of things.
Grete
and Anna having a chat about the proceedings of the day. They both wanted to
go to the South of Goa. Martin may follow.
The hostel area was not bad. The rooms catered for 8 people.
In Martin's room there were Grete and two other Swedish brats.
Time to take off to Don Joao, Martin's hotel in Goa for the first week at
least.
Happy times are here again. A crate of beers is a must. The
local liqueur store next to the hotel.
Martin being a
seasoned traveler, always put up his washing line as the first thing he does
in a new hotel.
The view towards the main building of the hotel.
Martin tipped the room boy handsomely and got a coconut drink as thanks.
Nice with a little dash of vodka.
Time for the tailor. Martin not having a sewing machine at
home, brings his tattered stuff to Goa to get fixed. The tailor's name is
Anzar at +91 932 3697 030 or +91 966 5252 280.
A new
kid on the block. This shop is new in the neighborhood.
New is this painting put up in the hallway towards the
rooms.
Time for some tanning and an afternoon beer or two.
The pool is only 16 meters, but Martin managed a 1000 meter
plus the first day and 2000 meters the other days.
The newly rich Russians are everywhere.
Here are two smoking ladies enjoying the sun.
The next day, Saturday March 14th,
it was time for Baga beach and Martin's sponsored kids at the orphanage. But
they never rocked up!
