Summing it all up.

Sep 21st: Martin's last day at the range. Hot it was.

Two videos were taken this day. The first at stage 23 and the last one at stage 17. For stage details, see addresses above.

To the left, the bottom end with stage 24 and the famous French train on the top. TGV which in English means, Train at High Speeds, and that's true. Top speed measured is 515 kms an hour. Not bad. Something the French got right.

To the right, the official banner of the European Championship.

And again, the official banner of the European Championship.

At stage 23, you start with your hands on your head.

A nice French car with its side scratched and a few bullets holes to boot. Cute.

Martin relaxing at the grand stand waiting to shoot. Of the 4+ hours you spend on the range for a day, you actively shoots for some five minutes. Martin questions if it's worth all the costs and hassles. Martin has done this for some 32 years and seems to be fed up.

Plenty of cars wherever you look at the parking lots. Shottist are well off. It cost to have all the stash needed for shooting.

The foundation for the railway line for the TGV. Really well done.

The French have their own way of making ditches. Not a bad idea with a thick plastic cover in the bottom.

Martin's rental lost its right tail glass after a meeting with a concrete pole. Not to worry. They convinced Martin at Avis that having a waiver for excess damage was a good idea. They thought for them. Now it really will cost them.

Because Martin scratched the whole right side, not only once, but twice driving into the parking lot at the hotel.

Nico from Namibia waiting to shoot at stage 22. The stage with the biggest physical layout and you shoot only 9 rounds. Not good. But the Frenchies are too lazy to tear a big stage down before the shootout on Sep 22nd. It's to be held here at this place.

All the stages had this sign up. Only the number differs. It tells you what you cannot do. Very wellcoming.

The next day, Saturday 22nd, it was time for the price giving ceremony. Not much for Martin. But everybody loves a pre-paid dinner.
