Summing it all up.

This was a day with bright sunshine and lovely weather for a boat trip. Most enjoyable.

To the left, the bristling harbor of Ayia Napa where we took boarded the ship taking us to the snorkeling sites.

To the right, Martin and Kirsten from Sweden having a chat.

The locals are out trying to get some meager outcome of a fished out Mediterranean.

Martin at the end of the boat.

Lighthouse at Cape Greko.

Military bunker facilities at the point.

Radio masts of the British controlling all the traffic in the area.

Lone fisherman trying out his luck. Most probably, he has run out of luck. There are hardly any fish left in the sea.

Seaside chapel on the rocks.

Another leisure boat with paying tourists on board. There are plenty of them in these waters.

Same lighthouse from another side. North this time.

The wash after the boat as we head back to shore.

The caves that we snorkeled around in. Really fascinating to do.

You could get in and out of this caves. Clean cool waters.

Since 1974 when the Turks closed the best beach in Cyprus, Famagusta, a completely new area of hotels had to be built. Here are some of them.

Hand gliders are everywhere to see. Some really like them.

The Yellow Submarine from the Beatles. Nice name for a boat.

And more hotels, but not the same quality beaches as at Famagusta further North.

Lovely hotels, all built after 1974.

Back to shore, reversing at the quay before landing. A most pleasant trip that took some 4 hours. Just about right.

Time for some beer shopping before departure for Norway.

The next day, May 20, it was time for some final tanning before returning back home to Norway.
