Martin T. to the
left visited Bangkok (BKK), Pattaya and various other places in Thailand
this time. A long holiday during the depressing months. Martin had a pleasant and fascination trip to Thailand
during in the period above with his Kran seen to the left.
Kran is Martin's women to be. |
Dec 1st, Martin and Kran went flat hunting in
AekMong Khol and to the Norwegian Seamen Church for shrimps,
Norwegian style.
Flat hunting. This was the first
one and not very interesting. Too big and too expensive.
Who needs two stories? |
The second one was more
promising. 10 000 baths (€ 255,-)
per months is on the expensive side.
But according to the neighbors, a very nice one. Kran is
phoning the letting company. |
The streets were very quiet and
plenty of empty houses for rent. Third
house for 9000 baths (€ 200,-)
and partly furnished. |
The kitchen is OK. And of
reasonable standard. A local pub
around the corner is an added plus. |
Oiy is the owner and single
mother of two. Nicely decor on the
walls of the pub. |
With their own condoms for the San Mig Light, Martin was
impressed and bought one. Then of to
Was where Da had her birthday party. |
Mama Was popped in as well.
Happy Martin and Kran. Martin was the only male in the
company. |
Tukta, Was and Was' sister Poin.
On the way back, Kran bought some beer for Martin. But there
was no discounts for Thais. |
Then off to the local market that had everything imaginable.
Plastic goodies seen here. Plenty
chicken, one of the stable foods of Thailand. |
Bananas are very popular too.
Plenty dried fish, Martin's favorite. |
Whiskey for so called medical use produced locally.
Lovely Thai veggies a abound all over the place. |
Fish is very popular in Thailand since it has a long sea
shore. Meat and liver for Kran. |
More fried fish at a reasonable costs.
Then it was time for the Norwegian Seamen's Church in Pattaya
and time for shrimps. |
Shrimps, Norwegian style is being served.
Kran is not to happy with the setup. And the bread was very
filling. |
In the evening, we went to Jomtien and saw some old friends.
Salty fish is not Martin's favorite.
It is a cozy setup with a table in the middle of the street
and the Thai family around it. |
