June planted some trees with our names.

June and Indian lady on an ox chart. Not pleasant. Watch the video.

They visited a school. From inside the school. Watch the video.

June planting Martins tree. Watch the video.

Outside school, a tree full of bats.

June planting her tree.

In the afternoon, time for a trip on the Mekong again.

Very fancy bus took us there.

To go on the small boats, we had to wear a life west.

Long tails engines are popular in Cambodia too.

The boats taking us to the Mekong.

The Mekong is flooded. These trees have roots into the ground.

Our fellow boats.  very nice trip. Watch the video.

They use oars too. We were supposed to watch dolphins. Hard to spot.

Nice green rice fields next to the river.

Riverside, stilted house.

Plenty of them. All the first floor above the flood line.

Nice houses.

Lots of lush greenery.

They are very close together.

They are poor, but have cars.

Sticky rice cooked in bamboo.

Used as snacks.

River crossing.

Another house.

Krud, a new beer on the market. Martin couldn't find it.

June back at the ship.

It is still the monsoon season in Cambodia and in the evening, we had another storm brewing.

On Saturday October 8th, it was time for Jaya House Riverpark.
Peacefully located alongside the Siem Reap River, surrounded by fully grown trees, is a hidden gem. A small hotel with only 36 rooms, two swimming pools, a Spa and an all-day-dining restaurant.

The hotel is located about a 6-minute tuktuk journey from town in the direction of the magnificent temples of Angkor Wat. Each of our 36 rooms has either a balcony or direct garden & pool access.
