Summing it all up.

Went to yoga, elephant show, traffic jam, visit to a spice factory and the trip home.

Outside the temple we visited the previous day, the holy cows were wandering around.

Martin in full action with the exercise called the breathalyzer test.

Martin participating in yoga, but is more like the gymnastics he did at primary school.

Kristin in the tiger den. There are two more pictures of Kristin below.

Marit and Kjell outside there suite for the last time. Time to leave and see the elephant show.

Here they are. Three youngster and one old lady of 40 years showed their tricks.

Climbing the trunks of the elephants.

Having fun with the elephants.

Look at my bid dick this Indian says. But it's only the trunk.

There is an .AVI file of 12Mb that works fine before uploading it, but after downloading it, it doesn't work any more. Any smart Alec that can explain Martin why?

The elephant are capable of bowling as well.

Kristin getting her rosary put around the neck by the elephant.

Here, Kristin gets her hat put on by the youngster elephant. Then it's time to leave.

In this area there are some open cast iron ore and they are transported to the harbor by trucks. And now there is a massive traffic jam. The roads are very narrow and not meant for this kind of traffic.

Martin bought some sugar cane to chew on.

And Martin didn't mind having a bite himself. Sweet as you can imagine.

There were ample supply of sugar cane from the big truck loaded with the stuff in the jam. And everybody help themselves to a piece.

At the entrance of the spice factory, they had this funny fruit called the durian fruit that tastes like heaven and tastes like hell. It takes only 4 weeks to grow to ripeness.

Still operated on cashew nuts. This drink really smells like hell and tastes as such as well. Not recommended.

Just outside, they had an old elephant bull doing its tricks. Only male elephants of the Asian kind to have tusks.

Walking across to the factory there are rice fields on both sides.

Inside the welcome area, vast fan cooled space with shops, restaurants and spice displays. The bananas hee are free of charge.

Selection of spices.

Slimming goodies with a million of herbs in it. Martin thought that it couldn't hurt.

Marit and Kjell wandering into the spice plantation.

Martin was there too.

The paradise bird plant. If you look closely, you can actually see the beak and tongue of the bird. Double-click the picture and see for yourself

Tarzan putting a show for the tourist. Very acrobatic.

From the left;
Geoffrey, Grandma, Pernille from Denmark, Annemette, Pernilles daughter and in front, Kristin, Marit and Kjell.

In this picture, Martin has replaced Kjell since he is taking the picture.

No Geoffrey on this picture, but the rest of us.

Good bye Geoff and thank you for a very nice, tranquil and pleasant trip, really worth the money. It is recommended by all of us who participated.

The next day, Saturday April 14th, Martin spent most of the day processing pictures from his trip.
