Summing it all up.

The day, 63 years after the German invasion of Norway in 1940, Martin had intention of tanning. Out of bed, bright and bushy tailed, he had an early breakfast at 0700 and then went to bed, dead tired. Why? Martin decided to try his new cell as a camera and it actually worked. The pictures below are taken with his cell.

To the left, Priyonka at the tailor shop downstairs in the hotel. She sells postcards as well.

To the right, Dr Jack de Sequera, not the Ripper. One of the founding Portuguese fathers of Goa. Or so Martin thinks.

Navin, at the computer shop visited the previous day. Navin is the son of the owner and the local computer guru. He evens knows IP-addresses. Not bad.

Another of the local Portuguese influenced houses along the road.

Shops, shops everywhere. They are countless and how can they make a business and survive? Must be very low labor costs.

Anand, one of the friendly waiters at the Endra pub and restaurant. Lobsters for US $ 20,- is not bad. Anand and Martin did exchange experience of cell phones for photography.

Anand having a go with Martin's camera.

Martin just checking out the camera inside the Endra pub.

Back at the hotel, Martin is fiddling with his SonyEricsson w800i. Obviously, this picture is taken by Martin's Fujifilm S9500 digital camera.

Papad, local crisp bread made of udad-dal flour. Also contains asafoetida, red chilly powder, salt, papadkal and other assorted herbs and species. Quite a snack and very tasty. Martin ate lots with his meal.

For dinner, flat fish is always nice. This one is called pommefret, not to be confused with pomme frits which is the same as fried potatoes or French fries. This is one of the most common fishes in the sea outside Goa.

The next day, April 10th, time for a little bit of tanning
