To the left, Kran is ready for the early morning swim at the 24th floor of
the hotel. On the 23rd floor, we get our towels for the
pool. |
Kran is ready for her dip. Martin enjoying his swim. |
The it was off to Nongyao's house, some two hours drive.
In Nongyao's kitchen where Kran is finding her swimming goggles at last. |
Nongyao's living room with the look to the street.
Then another hour's drive across town to Kran's factory where she gets her
stuff sown. |
Martin gave Kanya, Kran's friend a shirt from CNN in the US.
Kran has rented a semidetached house for 4000 baths or US $ 125,- a month.
Not much of a standard. Martin couldn't live there. |
Kanya's corner shop. This is a very nice and quiet
residential are in the North-Eastern suburb of Bangkok.
Kanya and Kran outside Kanya's shop. |
Martin having a quiet beer in a wooden hammock across the
street for Kanya's shop. Nice hot day in Bangkok. On the
road to Pattaya, Martin spotted this 4-wheeler. |
After another 3 hours, we arrived at the SilverSand hotel.
In total, we used 6,5 hours from our hotel in Bangkok to the
SilverSand
hotel in Jomtien. First place to check out is the pool. A
nice, 25 meters long pool that we will use every morning. |
The street vendors had some amazing bananas.
An old acquaintance that we ran into on our trips around town. |
Martin and Kran in their party shirts.
Pork knuckles look much more tasty than they really are. Martin had some.
German food outside Germany is not a hit. |
But it was a nice, big open restaurant next to
the street. |
