Summing it all up.

Thailand, December 7 - 21, 2008.

There is a nice overview map of Thailand. It's worth a peep.

Martin T. to the left visited Krabi in Thailand this time. A short holiday before the Christmas season. Martin had pleasant and fascination trip to Thailand during in the period above.

Everybody talks about the weather. Have a look at BBC's weather for Thailand.

The pictures below and on the following pages,  are all thumbnails, meaning they are small copies of the real thing. You just click on the thumbnails, and you get the full picture in a separate window. And depending on your browser, it may be a little smaller to fit your screen size.

To the left, Krabi lies in the Southern most part of Thailand, to the East of Phuket that Martin had visited during March and September 2008.

To the right, a detail map showing Ao Nang where Martin stayed this time next to Krabi seen on the picture to the left.

Departure, December 6th.

The snow just arrived in Norway. Time to leave.

Martin at the stairs of his house. Ellen, his sister is picking him up.

Ellen in a hurry to see her friend Erna before going back to Kongsberg and Torbjørn.

A fancy picture. This is the mirror image of the people in the train coach.

Jalla pants. Mohammed cannot be born by a woman. That's to diry so all jalla men do wear pants with a big bag underneath it in case Mohammed should drop out of their arse.

Jalla granddad with a snotty, ill-behaved grandson. The sons weren't any better.

Black money changing hands. The granddad got some spending money before leaving for Pakistan. NOK 25 000 in 1000 bills. Black money, not earned legally and not paid taxed.

The female part of the family waiting to board the plane to Pakistan.

Martin's watering hole while waiting for the plane. Martin fell asleep.

On route 59, the gate to Thailand for now.

The next day, Sunday December 7th, Martin landed in Krabi. It was wet and miserable.
