Summing it all up.

After a fascinating stay at OttosRus, it was off to Port Alfred. Before that, it was time for some chatting with Bernie and her lovely girl, Chantal.

OttosRus early in the morning.

The neighbors in the morning sun.

Bernie doing feeding the birds and watering them. Then they have feed for the rest of the day.

The road up to the house.

The Rose Bird is very protective of it's nest. Never leaves it. The couple share protecting it.

Bernie having a chat to her couple rouse birds.

Martin and Bernie at the breakfast table.

Chantal, Bernie's deaf, well-spoken daughter.

They love each other.

Below is the route taken from Bernie's place to Jeffrey's Bay.

Drifting sand dunes. As in Norway we have snow, here they have sand.

After 4 hours on the road, we ended up in Jeffrey's Bay, a bustling little coastal city outside Port Elisabeth. To he West of PE.

Local beggars, trying to make a living helping people to park.

White Star Guest house. Not enough value for money.

In the afternoon, the pool area was completely in the shade. No good solution.

In the corner, you can see the braai which was very well equipped and correctly designed.

A view of the town at it's beach. Nice, but windy.

Martin doubling up as a receptionist. The computer has a wireless link and VPN worked, but slowely.

And after that, time for some more beers and a braai.

The next day, Thursday 30th, it was on the road again to Kidd's Beach
