A nice swim, museum visit, lovely brunch another swim and beers. In the evening, visit to the Internet café.

Puna is ready for the pool this early morning at 0710.

Puna finished her swim and Martin his 1500 meters. 50 minutes it took him.

The Yusuksuwan Museum written in Thai and English.

The museum has a soft spot for old kerosene lamps for all kind.

An old vintage phone on display.

A wooden giraffe in the woods outside the building.

Old cool-drinks from the mid 50thies. Martin is at loss why to make museum of what would be called junk and rubbish in Norway.

Petromax from Germany. Martin used them during his military service during the 60thies.

Big palm tree outside.

A mechanical man made up of automotive engine parts. Really ingenious.

A Buddha figure with big boobs. Fertility symbol of some kind.

Puna with some ceramic pots of different kinds.

Martin with a female Buddha statue with crossed legs.

Martin taking a closer look at the big tits.

Martin with a local boat.

Again, the ceiling is full of kerosene lamps of all kinds. Where the heck do they get them all from? Some were not taken out of their transportation wrappers.

Puna and Martin with a big bottle of Thai whiskey. It is basically undrinkable.

Puna with an airgun.

The Yusuksuwan Museum written in Thai.

Puna and and old pedal driven richshaw.

Junk which you can find in the recycling area of any Norwegian rubbish dump. Why they save this for posterity is a mystery to Martin.

Martin with a camera from end of the 18th century.

Old TV screens not used any more.

Time for lunch. These chicken looked very tasty, but Martin had beef strips and pork liver for lunch.

Martin in the temple with crossed legs.

Martin and Puna in the temple together.

The big golden Buddha is a classic figure.

Puna with a fat, big bellied Buddha statue outside. Also one of the classic figures in Thai temples.

A separate part of the temple.

Eels for sale. Martin thought Puna should have them for supper and was very skeptical to the lot.

Turtles also make nice soup, or so Martin thought.

Puna with her catch. Including a bird in a cage.

The idea is to set the creatures free. Puna is reading the instructions.

Puna is setting the eels and snails.

Martin is setting free the birds.

Time to feed the fish. Also a part of the ritual.

The fish are feeding in a frenzy.

Puna and Martin on the boat.

Puna and Martin with cocks. Some kind of symbol in Thailand.

Puna likes to clean house. Martin does not.

Puna busy with her living room.

Puna's Thai shower. How do they empty it?

Living room. Notice no window. No need due to the climate.

Another view of the living room which is basically empty.

Puna's bedroom with view to the rich uncle Jan's house across the courtyard.

The extra bedroom meant for her daughter which is never there.

Details of the ceiling with has direct contact with the outside world.

Puna's dog is getting its food for the first time in many days.

Puna is leaving her house in her car.

The intersection next to Punas house. Martin is writing direction for the cab driver, how to get there.

The boss of the hotel Martin is staying in.

In the evening, we went to the same restaurant as last night. Martin had his favorite soup and is seen here washing his hand at a natural sink on the premises.

Puna and friend at the Interne café.

Another of Puna's friend at the same place. Nice way to end the day in a happy social environment.

The next day, Saturday  February 2sd, it was time to move to Puna's house
