First, we had to take a 2,5 hours bus trip to the long boat. Before we left, we got the breakfast served in our room. And the bus trip was OK. Watch the video. |

Then we entered the long
boat. It was very well equipped. We took many pictures along the 6 hours ride up the Mekong to our cruise ship. Due to low water level, we had to go up the river were it was navigate-able. |

was a low water level, due to dams upstream in China. You clerly see the washed stones along the river. |

This cross river is the border between
Thailand to the left and Laos to the right. From now on, Mekong is totally
inside Laos. Sunset at 1815 in the evening. |
