Summing it all up.

Another lovely day on the beach with Odd and Anne-Lise to end it off with a night at Manfried's pub.

To the left, Eli is walking towards the sun bathing chairs hired on the beach.

To the right, Eli her shoes in hand walking about on the beach.

Martin in greasing up for the sun of the day. Forgetting your sun tanning cream is a great mistake as Martin learned as he one day didn't cover his legs. Sun burned skins was the result.

Anne-Lise, Odd and Eli having a swim in the lovely, calm warm water of the day.

Roberto, Martin's trusted waiter showing off some of his balancing acts with drinks for the customers.

Roberto on his way to the patrons that ordered the drinks.

American girl on the beach. They speak load and broad they had to be from Texas, the USA.

Martin's Italian neighbor of the the day, Maria.

The regularly ferries come and goes all the day.

Back to the hotel, the Calle 2 seen from the sea side.

The lovely done swan by the staff left on Martin's bed. Cute.

Manne's Biergarten

Manfried's or Manne's Biergarten is a place German and Scandinavian that like the Teutonic touch of a friendly German. Here you have him with his German wife, Susie.

Waiting for the eisbein that was ordered some day in advance, you have Martin, Eli, Anne-Lise and Odd.

One eisbein is more than enough for one person and a hefty meal by all accounts. And very tasteful. At 80 pesos per person, it's  real bargain.

Odd didn't like the tequila as well as the eisbein. Tequila is really an acquired taste that Odd can bargain for. He hasn't got the hang of drinking tequila, sorry to say.

To finish off the evening we went for an Irish coffee. The same place that Martin and Eli visited the night before.

Here are all the ingredients for four people, the same amount that Eli got for one drink the night before.

The show came on0 mins too late. By this time, the ice-cream had melted and the the coffee become lukewarm.

And after the burning show finesses, there was no alcohol left. So what we got was lukewarm, sugary coffee that tasted somewhat sickening.

And to add insult to injury, they overcharged us. 10 pesos more than the stated 80. And 80 pesos was what we each paid for the eisbein. Hurray for Manfried's Eisbein.
La Adela, the restaurant that rips you off. How many have they cheated, charged exhorbitant prices of or rip off? They should be ashamed. The web address?

http://www.saboresdeplaya.com.mx
5th Avenue 230 between Calle 12 and 14 at Playa del Carmen

La Adela has a nice lobster outside and a potential for lots of customer, but the owners are too greedy and rips of the goose that lays the golden eggs, the customers.

The next day, Saturday Feb 10, it was time for a bus trip down the coast to Tulum-El Paraiso.
