To the left, one of the main pools in the hotel complex with
more than 1000 beds. To the right, the pedestrian tunnel to
the dancing hall by the sea. |
The middle pool. The seaside pool. |
One of the wooden floors used for dancing. But seldom used
due to crappy weather. The sea side dancing floor. Not used
so far, due to weather conditions. |
The dancing floor with Sidsel the Boss in the middle,
ordering the troops around. The main pool where Martin
manages to put in some 500 meters after the afternoon dance. A wonderful way
to cool down. The water temperature is just above 200 Centigrade. |
Martin had a lovely lunch of king prawns in one of the side
streets next to the hotel. At night, we were led into one of the
fortifications from the 15th century. Here the lead knight show us the way. |
On our way to the restaurant. The head
knight is greeting us, telling us about the fateful September of 1565, when
the Turks were fought off by the Malteseian. |
The main cathedral on the complex of fortifications.
Our restaurant, The Bacchus. |
The dining room with all the long tables.
Svahild. |
Martin and Unni, dental specialist. Lillian,
the serious one. |
Another view of the cave. Svanhild and Aud
with the table singers that really did a good job. |
Unni and Roy having a nice chat. Steinar
with an iron bar up his bum. Or so it looks. |
The headwaiter of the restaurant. An unpleasant and
unfriendly character that shouldn't have a job like this. He
is not people friendly and is more like the Dracula like characters shown
here to the right. |
Svanhild, Aud and Bergliot, the three ladies at the end of
the table. Sidsel, the boss lady and Roy in a friendly,
joyful chat when leaving. |
Elisabeth from Fuerteventura and friends at the bar back at
the hotel. |
