Summing it all up.

Aud's pictures.

This day was spent have our first dancing lesson, a three hour walk, lunch and a nap and rounded off with some more dancing.
To the left Steinar and Roy Tore getting some cash for the day. Works very well.

To the right, the weather wasn't on our side. Windy and the occasional shower. Then we bolted for a quick beer.

While raining we entered a local corner shop to stock up on drinking water and some beers. The mini bars in the hotel aren't exactly cheap.

On shower and a beer for a happy couple, Roy Tore and Martin. Roy is one of the instructors. A really jolly fellow with a healthy laugh.

Then we started on our three hour round trip. This was a nice building we passed.

This beggar had to earn his keep. Martin took his photo.

Across the bay, one of the landmarks on this part of Malta.

A close-up of Martin while having the walk. It was Steinar that took it.

Strolling along.

Posing at the waterfront.

A strange concrete construction at the harbor.

Martin on top of this concrete construction.

View from the concrete stair case.

Popped in a massage parlor. A nice Chinese couple run it.

Some houses did have nice palm trees outside them. But those houses were rare.

Apartment blocks with empty flats were all over the place. It has been over invested in holidays flat on this island, and it shows.

After three hours walking around, a cold beer was really tasty.

The sky is still clouded when back at the hotel. This is the view from Martin's balcony.

Wednesday, Oct 17, it was time for a round trip on the island to get to know the area near to us.
