Our last day was at the Victory monument and the shooting range.

It was rainy this morning, but not for long.

Then it was off to the Victory monument.

Lai and Martin in front of the monument.

It is a nice landmark in Vientiane.

Wide boulevards, French style.

Lai is shopping T-shirts. With Martin's money.

Martin and our nice sales lady.

Off to the shooting range. Lai and Bankk with the army truck, most probably Chinese made.

Lai and Martin inside the massive hall.

Martin at one of the many gun displays.

Lai and Martin fooling around.

Mannequins and massive amounts of empty shells.

There are some 35 shooting ranges of different kinds at this shooting range. This is one of them.

The 3-some, Martin, Lai & Bankk.

Noy, our shooting instructor. She took us to one of the 35 ranges available.

Our too IPSC targets.

Bankk having a go with the Ak47. A short video.

And Bankk shot well. Notice the holes. The bullets are tumbling. Really shit Chinese ammo.

Martin is having a go. Not the same results as Bankk. He is a good student.

Comparing results. Bankk won easiy over his teacher.

Martin's 5 shots auto. Note the tumbling rounds. None are going straight. See the video.

Shooting plates at another range.

Toilets were everywhere. No need for long walks.

Noy in her electrical bus.

Lai and Martin having an after shoot beer.

The restaurant facilities were very good with a fantastic bar.

The immense dining hall outside the bar.

Overview over the facilities. All built by Chinese money.

The hotel to be at the shooting range.

A stop for Lai's Thai food.

Some heavy duty repair work.

Threesome at the stop.

Threesome, from the left, Martin, Lai and Bankk.

They cook some local meat on the grill by the road.

Local bucks having a fight.

Locals playing card about money.

Off to the goat restaurant.

A cozy place somewhere in Vientiane.

Martin and Lai overlooking the street.

Lai is digging in the goat stew.

Martin and Lai.

They had a nice time.

The goat food. Martin couldn't eat the sausage since they were too spicy.

The goat chef.

Lai and the waitress.

The menu for those that understand Laotian.

On Wednesday April 18th, it was time to return to Thailand and Nang Rong.
