Summing it all up.

March 31 - On The Beach

Buying some beers for my trip to the beach and the on to the beach.

Wanted to take a picture of Martin with manual focusing. Not too successful. Need some more manual reading.

Just settled at the beach in a sun hazed by thin clouds. Nice for beginning tanners.

Having a beer is essential to most things in Martin't life. Taste great in the sun.

And crooks are not welcome in Israel, not even on the beeches. They will get their asses shot off if they try any crooked business. You really feel safe. In Israel.

Ivar and Magnhild or Emmanuel Desperadoes and Emmanuelle Desperados, according to the the mood they are in.

Nice boobs and fat bum. Some reduction in the calorie intake is necessary for more close attention.

A nice, well shaped woman on the beach looking for a rich husband in the sand, her son trailing her.

A nice neighbor just arriving. Victor Asoulay from Quebec Canada. His address is4876 Churchill Avenue, H7W-2L1, Laval, Quebec, Canada. He doesn't remember email address. Spoke perfect French, hardly any English and was great company for the day. Martin got a chance to practice his French, language that is ;-)

Sport water center out in the bay. The swimming area and water sport center was nicely separated by buoys along the sea. Great for swimming.

Martin ready for his first of two 30 minutes swim inside the buoys. Nice. The water was some 230 Centigrade according to Martin's body temperature on the return.

Just kitted up for a nice swim in the Read Sea.

And it was crowded. The Sabbath is very popular for Israelis to fly down from the North to have a long weekend in Eilat.

On the go, ready for 30 minutes of cruising the Read Sea.

And finally back. Lots of rubbish on the bottom. No coral reef here, no ;-)

Happy arriving back. Martin loves this.

And there he is in all his splendor after his swim. Very satisfied with himself. Great feeling.

Everybody aren't rich in Israel. A lot of people have felt outside the social network. A guy picking up empty bottles and cans to get the deposit for them. Bless him. He doesn't beg and pester you as Jallas do.

Pony tails are very popular among Israeli men for some reason. If you ask them why they have one, they can't give a decent answer.

Victor and the crowded beach. After midday, the beach really started to fill up.

Close-up of Victor. He really enjoy the beach and will be there for three weeks at a time.

And crowded it became.

An juggler on the beach showing off his tricks with tree oranges then five. It almost worked. Nice entertainment.

And after five hours on the beach it was time to go home to our trusty hostel, The Spring. Just around the corner to the left on this picture.

Pierre, the hostel owner and main entertainment source at the hostel with an Internet connection that works most of the time. Contact him for good prices and a pleasant place to stay if you plan to get to Eilat on your own. He is worth it.

Emmanuelle Desperados or Magnhild watching Pierre.

Amarula, a South African drink resembling Baileys. Nice for after dinner drink.

Patricia wanted extra strong coffee and got and additional little cup.

The bar keeper with the hair straight up. Besides ponytails, this is the most popular hair style among present day Israeli me.

The restaurant, The Three Monkeys, is a very popular place among youngster over the long weekend.

On the way back to the hostel, a nice flower bush along the sidewalk.

The next day Martin was ready for another day on the beach.
