After a strenuous bus trip the previous day, time to visit Bay of Pigs and sleep over at Cienfuegos.

Early morning at the fancy hotel Melia Marina Varadero, one of the best hotels in Cuba.

A lot of condos next door to the hotel.

Roy is always sleeping as late as possible.

The pool of the hotel.

The layout of this fantastic hotel. If you ever come to Cuba (not recommended), go here.

Roy in the breakfast hall.

The front infinitesimal pool at the entrance.

The hotel log.

Time to visit a sugar cane factory. This is one of the old locomotives.

Our guide with the mumbling voice and lousy English is making a speach.

The guide is showing us how the sugar cane is build up.

The train details showing Roy taking his photos.

On route to our train.

Derelict buildings are plentiful in this old-fashioned commie paradise.

More derelict buildins.

Train taking us to the sugar cane field.

The endless track taking us some 3 kms into the bush where the track stops.

Banana tree. Banana is the second most Used staple food in the world after rice.

Sampling the produce.

The selection of the local produce.

Termites making their holes.

Nadja at the train to the filds.

After a strenuous walk in the cane fields, time for a beer while waiting for our transport to the crocodile farm.

Here is one of the animals, an iguana. (You can't.)

All the animals in the farm.

Martin back at the bar while the others are taking a boat trip in the rain.

A crockodile family. The crock burger doesn't taste good after this.

One of the turtles of the farm.

A big daddy drock.

Time for a boat trip

Off we went.
A solid downpour made the boat trippers wet.

Martin relaxed in the bus instead

But then the sun came up and we had a boring 3-hours' trip tour to our hotel at Cienfuegos.

Not before we had a nice lunch. Vibeke, Martin and Nadja.

The mUseum at Pay of Pigs.

An American plane on display. It was Used in the attack on Cuba.

The Cuban name for the mUseum.

An detail of the American plane.
