A lazy day with not much. Program above. Martin booked a trip to Spinalonga.

A nice flowery tree outside the restaurant. It looks good.

The pool seen from the restaurant side towards the dancing floor.

The Star Tour Guides is holding a presentation of the trip possibilities on the island of Crete.

Back at Marin's room. This is his balcony.

Martin's maid making up the room.

Martin went to the bank to take out some cash. Of course, siesta at 1315.

Time to go to Martin's old pizza restaurant.

Nice Mythos beer. Martin has a glass like this at home in Norway.

Nice, Greek meal. Martin didn't eat the chips, though.

The restaurant is using a clay oven. Wood for the oven had just arrived.

The next day, Tuesday May 21st, Martin went to Spinalonga, an old leprosy colony. In 1873 the Norwegian doctor and zoologist Armauer Hansen discovered the leper-bacillus, after which it was possible to cure the illness. But the leper-hospital on Spinalonga was not closed until 1957, when the patients were taken to a hospital in Athens.
