Martin left the hotel at 0130 hours in the morning. Too early.

The airport in Saigon is nice and big.

But closed till 0300 in morning. Martin waiting outside.

A man took some photos of Martin.

Martin sat there for more that an hour.

At 0300, there were a lot of people outside.

They opened 0310, 10 minutes late.

Martin could check the departure times through the glass doors.

Martin's backpack on the belt at last.

Martin's luggage tag.

Landed in Hanoi.

We were met by a representative that took us to the International Part of the airport.

Long way to walk.

But we got to the bus eventually.

Here we are almost there.

At the international departure.

Not a lot of people there. Basically empty. Bad for business.

The same after you passed the security check. Not many travelers.

Martin found quiet corner and did his computer work.

Martin got business class for some unknown reason. And slippers.

Banking over Paris.

Sunset over Paris.

Paris below. Martin lived here in 1973-74 while studying at Fontainebleau outside Paris.

Hangars after landing.

CDG airport is the most confusing and complicated airport martin ever has visited. Typical French, empty information boot. No help to get.

Martin had pre-booked at IBIS Hotel at CDG airport. Entrance to the hotel.

The queue was long to check in. Not good swrvice.

Martin had his first beer on European soil for 1 year, 1 month and 9 day. At a price.

It was 5 times the Vietnamese price. Here it was € 6,0. In Vietnam 1.2 Euro.

On Thursday April 21st, Martin arrived in Paris after an 12:21 hours' flight.
