A lovely morning with nice sun this our last day in Laos for now.
Lai taking a last look at Vientiane. Kasavangs shop down to the left. |
Martin likes Vientiane for some odd reason. He will come back.
The 3 happy folks ready to leave for the airport. |
Bankk, Lai and Martin.
At the airport, plans to expand with the help from the Japanese. |
Mr. Tim alias Charlie, the service
manager at the hotel with Lai. Se
Martin's report and suggestions for improvements.
Lai spending her last kips on some clothing. |
The jewelry was out of her price
range. Martin on the other hand was happy with a
beer or two. |
Martin's favorite dark Laotian
beer. Lai shopped till her last kip and then
some. |
But nothing makes woman happier
than shopping. Then we landed in Bangkok, well
ahead of schedule. |
At
Don Muang Airport, Lai
was happily back in Thailand. Time for a beer
while waiting for Suza. It took one hour to get here after we went off the
plane. |
Martin happy in the warm air of
Bangkok. The airplane was too cold. While
waiting for our bus, we went to R&M restaurant at the Bic C some blocks
away. |
This is what the
restaurant looks like from the outside. Martin
and Lai seated. |
Funny figures with
tissues, feedback forms and pencils. Cute. The
food was excellent and well prepared and cooked. A recommendable place. |
Outside, the strange
sales lady try to sell her shoes. When no customer, she eats as most Thais
do. The ceiling above the restaurant was
impressive. |
Staff preparing the
meals for the customers. Then it was off with the bus to Nang Rong. |
