Visit to
Laguna Beach Resort was the first stop of the day. A lovely fountain in the front. This one will go when it is finished. |
The standard condo had a very spacious feel to it. Only 40 sq. meters at a
cost. Lovely bedroom. |
And ditto bath room. The living room is very clean, neat and spacious. |
Kran and Martin in the living room. Lovely place, but Martin
is concerned about the fact that he has to pay money for 3 years before he
can enjoy them. He then rather consider the second hand market. What if they
go bust before finalizing the prosject? Ole, the friendly Danish salesman. He knew his business. |
Just outside the nice building that will be torn down when
construction starts next year. A heavy bike outside Mr. Moo's that was not opened in the morning. |
We went to the market to have a nice, cheap, Thai breakfast
a little bit late. Outisde Mr Moo, the pavement is finished.
The off to
Atlantis Condo resorts for a quick look. They had a model of the complex in the entrance. |
A nice mode of a full rigger was prominent placed in the
reception area. Also very lovely, but all show rooms are lovely. |
Kran and Martin on the poach, but it is all a dummy. It will
be torn down in April 2012. The living room in the two bedroom condo was impressive. Too big and too expensive for Martin. |
Mr.
Joke showing off the prospects. The prospects of the two places are
similar in concept, but Atlantis is more expensive. Then off to Pattaya Dolphin World. A nice visit. |
Martin relaxing before opening. Martin bought some present for his co-workers. The production shown here. |
They were busy with Martin's gifts. The the Dolphin stage itself. |
The show can begin. For an overview,
have a look at this 28
MB video. The Dolphin is resting. |
Having a nap with his handler. Then they
play around with a ball. Then time for a sombrero. |
Hatted dolphin. They were good. Then they
were playing football. Then kicking the handler out of the water. |
They are good and got way clear of the water.
And pushing their balls
around. They even tried some
sunglasses. The handlers were good and had done this before. 5 times a day the show is on. |
End of show. Time to visit Hasses, a Swedish restaurant owned by a Norwegian, Arve. No herring here though. |
Then off to The Sailor's Inn. Here they have
lovely herring. After a lovely lunch with Norwegian sandwiches, time to visit the busy beach road. |
Martin enjoying a beer. There are booze busses all along the road. |
A reindeer carriage with Kran and Martin was
nice. It was a Russian that took our photos and we took his. |
Lovely, fatty banana pancakes were made along
the road. Another booze bus along the road. |
The Balcony Inn was lovely. Here is the balcony itself overlooking the beach road of Pattaya. |
Time for a beer at the Chang beer garden that
had not yet opened in the afternoon. After an hours sleep or so, it was time for a late dinner at JoyEnjoy just behind our condo at 2A. |
On the table next door, Mr. Higgs from Northern
Norway had found the God particle. The restaurant was full and a long wait for the food. But the waiter was still smiling. |
Then a night-cap at the Pink Bus Bar across the
street. Kran and Martin saying Good Night to each other before going to bed and sleep. |
The next day, Monday December 26th, it was time for
boat trip that was cancelled and we went to the Immigrations instead.
