Summing it all up.

Today was the day of the arrival of my cooler bag from London, where it got
lost. It was sent to Copenhagen instead of London.
|
To the left, Sasha lying in the rain outside Martin's room.
It was raining. To the right, the rain is coming
in over the mountains with the South West, the prevalent wind direction in
the Cape. |
|
|
Out to the air-port, it was pouring down. Martin managed to
get there without any incidents. And Martin's
green cooler bag, stripped of it's handle. And the rucksack had been
ransacked and the cables disappeared. |

|
The fire arms department was closed and it was just to wait
in line. The firearms officer was really fed up
by the paperwork. In good old days (prior to 2004), all he had to do was to
fill in one page of paper. This time, 9 pages. |
|
|
A local beggar performing for the few rands he got from
Martin. Then to get some more biltong, Martin's
favorite snack in South Africa. |
|
|
Sir Lowry's Pass, named after some English general. Both a
place on the map and a pass. Nice actually. Back
up to West Ridge, a peacock crossed the road. Dangerous. |
|
|
Really long tail. Back to bed
with a beer, some biltong, my trusty .45 ACP and the computer, fixing up the
pictures for the last few days before the green bag arrived with the gun and
the computer. |
|
And that night, Ina and Martin had a lovely tête-à-tête dinner in her
kitchen.
Then the next day Saturday 25th, it
was time for some more computer work.
