Summing it all up.
Birgits svik
May's betrayal
| |
This day was cold and windy, so we spent most of the day indoors due to overcast
clouds.
|
To the left, the dark clouds over Puerto del Carmen, but no
rain as was forecast. To the right Martin doing some
computer work from his PC well dressed in fur. There is no heating indoors. |
|
|
Martin hard at work at his computer with his great furred
windbreaker.
One of the neighbours has cut down some palm trees and made
a neat, nice bird bath out of it. Very creative. |

Walking along the beachfront, the Lanzarotians have to
shuffle sand, in Norway snow. Outside Picasso's, an English
pub come restaurant has the most fantastic English breakfast. It lies at
Jameos no 70, Los Pocillos in Puerte del Carmen. |

Joanne and Harry
that is running the show. Nothing beats an English breakfast with black
pudding and sugar. And some beer to go. May and Leif are
practicing love making during their trip to Lanzarote in 2020. May has lost
her teeth and uses dentures. Just joking, but
read all about it. |

It was forecast cold and rainy weather, but it did not
materialize till late at night when we planned to go for a fish dinner at
the harbour. And so we went to El Sardinero, with rancid
sardines due to a too long stay in the freezer. The salmon tasted also of
cod liver oil gone nasty. |
|
|
And rain it did. Norwegian wind breaker was nice to have
being outside in the rain and cold. Inside El Troll, that we
visited also last year, it was warm, friendly and cosy with a Baileys or
two. |
|
|
And a new addition to the Norwegian bar was an elk head on
the wall. Like back home. Down to the right, one of the co-owners, Sjur. |
|
The next day, we went to the
Spanish evening at the Texas ranch after a visit to our trusty Internet café.
