Summing it all up.

May's betrayal
| |
This 9th day of January, we lazed in the sun and went to check prices
of digital cameras.
To the left, our neighbour's rental car. They spent the day
travelling the island of Lanzarote. To the right, the local
doves came for a snack of old, dry bread. Friendly birds. |
Martin and May lying in the sun and mild breeze. May never
smiles. Not even in her dreams of Geir, her newly acquired bed friend.
Victoria, our friendly cleaning lady that is all smiles and worth a decent
tip. |
Just outside our flat no 18, there are a few beautiful
Hawaiian roses. Bright yellow ones. And the view of the
neighbors are pretty with classical Lanzarotian plants. |
The pool area is nice, small and freezing this time of the
year. The clean, neat walkway outside our room, no 18. |
Walking to town to check digital camera prices. One of
figures of Cesar Manrique, the man that really put his mark on the island in
terms of architecture. May & Martin in front of the
monument. |
After haggling with the camera dealer, having a Martini and
Guinness tasted very well. Even May had a smile on her lips. Prices after
the Christmas rush are better back home in Norway. Decided not to buy
anything here at Lanzarote. May is enjoying her pizza at her
a nearby shopping center. |
The waiter is pulling May's leg with the napkins. The fire
from the flambéing liqueur used in the food making of dishes. |
The chef was a virtuoso to making food for everybody to see.
He was situated in a glass cage in the middle of the restaurant. Real
entertaing. |
The next day, we went back to
Apartementos Playa Pocillos and had black pudding for lunch.
